Most people come here for the beach. Cyclists who know come for the roads and keep it to themselves. Inland from the tourist coast, the terrain changes completely: rolling hills, cork oak forests, villages where the square café has been serving espresso since before GPS existed. The roads are quiet, well-surfaced, and relentlessly scenic.
And because this isn't a classic cycling circuit yet, you won't be sharing it with 300 other riders.
We don't make you pack and unpack every day. Each tour runs from two fixed bases: Loulé, then Tavira — from which we build a new loop every morning. North into the Serra do Caldeirão. East along the coast toward Spain. West through the cork forests. Same room. Same team. A different Algarve each time you clip in.
Our routes are built for people who take cycling seriously — without taking themselves too seriously. Fifty kilometres on an easy day. One hundred and ten when you want more. We ride in small groups. We stop when the view demands it. The support vehicle is always within reach — but most people never need it.
We start together. We finish together.
Each ride is led by a seasoned local guide who knows the roads inside out. They handle logistics, ensure your safety, and take you off the beaten track.A support vehicle follows with tools, snacks, water and gear. Mechanical help is on-hand, and GPS routes are always provided.Your only job: ride. We handle the rest.

No chain hotels. No compromises. Every property is selected because it earns its place: good beds, secure bike storage, and a breakfast timed for a proper start. Some are boutique hotels. Some are family-run guesthouses with rooms that feel lived-in and calm. All of them are exactly right for a week of serious riding.
Lunch in a village square. A coffee so good you order two. Dinner with fish that came out of the Atlantic this morning. Portuguese food at its best is simple, precise, and completely satisfying — exactly what your body needs after six hours in the saddle. We know where to eat. Every stop is a genuine recommendation, not a sponsored placement.

Better than most people expect, and quieter than it deserves. Smooth tarmac, varied terrain, manageable traffic — coastal flats, rolling inland hills, proper climbs if you want them. One of the best cycling destinations in Western Europe that hasn't been fully discovered yet.
February to June is ideal: mild, light, and green. September to November is equally good. July and August work with early starts — we adjust the schedule when the heat pushes high.
Neither is wrong. Guided means expert navigation, daily briefings, and group energy you can't manufacture. Self-guided means your pace, your stops, your call. We offer both — and you can switch formats mid-week if your plans change.

This isn’t a race — we ride as a group and adapt to everyone’s pace.Routes vary from 50 to 110 km per day with manageable elevation. If needed, our support vehicle is always there.
Yes — and it works particularly well. We build the week around your group's level: distance, pace, terrain, stops. Tell us who's coming and what you want from the week.
On guided trips, our support vehicle transfers your bags from one hotel to the next — you ride light, we handle the logistics. On self-guided trips, you can either carry your own gear or add a luggage transfer option. In both cases, the organisation remains smooth and simple.
Each rider receives a Baroudeur jersey at the start of the trip. We also try to provide laundry access during the week, depending on accommodation.
With 2 or 3 kits, you’ll be perfectly comfortable for the entire ride.
Yes. Before departure, you’ll have access to snacks. During the ride, our support vehicle follows the group to refill bottles, provide food and ensure your safety. You ride with freedom — but never alone.
Absolutely. We always plan a proper break in a local café or bakery — often with a regional speciality. It’s included in your trip, and it’s one of our favourite parts of the day: a moment to refuel, relax and soak up the local culture.
